We have a large ‘garden tub’ in our bathroom and it’s made out of a plastic…i don’t believe that its fiberglass. Is there anyway to repair it without it looking SO obvious? Luckily the ***** is higher up above what water level is usually used….I’m just tired of ‘hiding’ it under a folded hand towel draped over the side.
any ideas/suggestions?

If its plastic you can weld it you would need a welding tool that will cost around £300.It would be easier to repaiar with fibre glass from the back of the ***** and far cheaper
patch it with fiberglass reinforced plastic auto body filler grind the ***** both sides the ***** and have good ventillation when apply like a warm day windows open fans going
If it is a hairline crack, try putting a couple coats of superglue on it, then scrape off the excess with a razor blade. Superglue is so thin, it gets pulled into the ***** via capillary action.
If it is a wider crack, as in there is plastic missing, you could try bondo, and then paint over the bondo with appliance touch-up paint.
These are just two ideas to avoid the costly but sensible suggestions posted before.
