I have an xbox 360 and recently had only one red light show up (not the Red Ring of Death). Can anyone point me to a free online guide on do it yourself repair for this problem? my console isnt under warranty and i dont way tp pay $100 plus S+H for a fix.
I have the E74 error code, if thats any help.

    It’s probably an issue with your motherboard, graphics card, and heat-solder construction.

    In which case, good luck making anything work in your favor. Break down, scrounge up the moola, and call India – TOUGH!

    try putting a slightly damp towel on your x box for a few hours. If that don’t work go to youtube and look up x box 360 fixes

    You should not send it to Microsoft as that will take lots of time and you have to pay them $150 to get Xbox 360 repaired if its warranty has ended.
