How do I get a hotel TV to work at home with a universal remote?

I bought a TV from a hotel that was remodeling, and can not get a universal remote to work with it. It is a philips OCV625c123. Are these TV’s made so that you can not use a remote with them other than the hotel remote, or should I try another universal remote? It works by manually switching channels and turning on.
