How to make your own DIY emo/punk/goth clothing?

I’ve heard a lot about people DIY-ing their own punk clothes and I find it really intriguing I’ve made a couple simple things but I was just wondering if you have any helpful tips or ideas no matter how basic for me to try out. Or maybe some sites i could visit, I don’t want to BUY diy clothes i want to make them myself. Anyways Thanks in advance it’s much appreciated!

    i have a punk friend who made a skirt entirely out of duct tape a few years ago. it was actually kinda cool.
