just tell them how grateful you are that they are your parents… tell them in a poem thats even better. if my kids did that i would think it was very special. parents dont always want presents.. i bet they would tell all there friends what you have done, and i bet mum would have a tear in her eye. good look and you are a credit to your parents……

Speak from the heart with your poem, perhaps you could put little funny things in the poem what you did as a little kid( and brothers and sisters) Or something funny what your parents have done, You could present the poem in a photo frame.Congratulations to your parents from Australia

I agree with scrapbook. Include pics of you and your siblings as kids,in school and grad pics. Also. include wedding pics of you and your siblings and any grand children your parents may have.I would also try to find old pics of them from their dating years, wedding and such. we did this for my in-laws and it brought my mother-in-law to tears.

Since silver is the gift your are supposed to give, go to a trophy store and get a silver plaque inscribed with a poem that you wrote. This will be about $60.00 or so.
    Less costly…
Go to a scrapbooking store, and find a really nice piece of silver paper and write (or have someone that does calligraphy write) the poem on the paper and then frame it. Cost will be about $10.00 including the frame.

A very tasteful photo album, that has pics of your parents when they first were married all the way up to their 25th anniversary
