I’m going to buy a plain hoodie somewhere, probably at Ross for a few bucks, and I want to do something with it for fun, just for the heck of it. What kind of “Do it yourself” stuff can I do to it? Any Ideas?

splash some fabric paint or bleach on it for a splatter effect

get some rhinestones or cute buttons and personalize it

get some unique fabric swatches and put them on the elbows for a fun retro look

get a patch from the craft store and iron or sew it on

put some cute beads on the drawstring ties

Patches and studs and the tops of lighters. Just decorate it to look like you! Definitely use fabric paint on it too.

    Hey,

You should try and buy some sequins and sew them on. Or, from some craft stores you can buy fabric paints, and draw/write what ever you like on there.

Or another idea, get a marker, and get some friends to sign it for you!!

YOU CAN GO TO LIKE ACMOORE OR MICHEALS STORE AND GET SEQUINS OR RHINESTONES CRAFTY STUFF LIKE THAT TO PUT ON IT. OR MAYBE LIKE AN IRON ON PATCH THAT WOULD WORK TOO. WITHA SAYING ON IT OR A DESIGN.

For temporary accessories, use badges. You know, the small fashionable badges?? I usually wear them on my jeans but they can be worn anyway.
